Years ago there was a common expression circulating around Claremont,the town that pretends it's a city, which was, to the best of memory, this:"PUT A ROOF OVER THE TOWN OF CLAREMONT AND IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD WHOREHOUSE"! In keeping with modern trends, so evident on some street corners and byways, this can be amended to: PUT A ROOF OVER CLAREMONT AND IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD 'CRACK' HOUSE."!
